North Fork Tieton
A gently climbing 10 mile ski or snowshoe tour on a groomed forest road. Side trip options provide access to the North Fork of the Tieton River. The end of the groomed trail connects to the summer trail to Tieton Meadows.
Getting There
Drive SR-12, 5 miles east of White Pass. Turn south on Forest Road 1200. In 3 miles park at the North Fork Tieton Sno-Park.
Route
In winter this trail is usually groomed, but even with recent snow fall, the trail easily follows a gently climbing forest road towards a summer campground at the 5 mile mark. This is the end of the grooming, but one can continue on ungroomed terrain on the summer trail towards Tieton Meadows. There is also an optional side trail that crosses the Tieton River and climbs along the east bank for a couple miles.
