Orangegate Park & Pipeline Trail
Hike to run in a lesser known park in Pierce County and gravel utility corridor with easy trails and beautiful distant views of Mount Rainier.
On the trail
Orangegate Park is a 160-acre unofficial park in rural Pierce County where hiking trails are shared use with mountain bikes and equestrians through forest and prairie.
Hiking trails in the park can be combined with the Pipeline Trail, a gravel public access utility corridor for a variety of out and back variations up to 10 miles round trip.
Future park development plans of the Pipeline Trail are in progress to improve the gravel utility corridor into a connection between Orangegate Park to Puyallup.
