Stirrup Lake
Hike to Stirrup Lake from the Stirup Lake Trailhead or from Stampede Pass. From it's trailhead, it's 3.o miles round trip with 600 feet of elevation gain. From Stampede Pass, it's 10 miles round trip with 2,000 feet of elevation gain. Enjoy views of the surrounding peaks and the beautiful forest landscape along the route.

Take Exit 62 off of I-90, turn right, and drive 1.1 miles. Turn right onto Forest Road 54 and in 1.7 miles turn left onto Forest Road 5483. In 2.9 miles turn left onto Forest Road 5484 and in 0.2 mile arrive at the Stirrup Lake Trailhead (3,200 ft).
stampede pass
Take Exit 62 off of I-90, turn right, and drive 1.1 miles. Turn right onto Forest Road 54 and continue ~7 miles to Stampede Pass (3,700 ft).

Hike the Stirrup Lake Trail for 0.7 mile to its junction with the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). Continue another 0.5 mile to the lake and from there another 0.4 mile to Meadow Pass.
from stampede pass
10 miles round trip with 2,000 feet of elevation gain
Hike north no the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) 4.5 miles from Stampede Pass to the Stirrup Lake Trail junction. Turn left onto the Stirrup Lake Trail and continue 0.5 mile to the lake. Another 0.4 miles leads to Meadow Pass.
