Sequim Bay
A great place to sea kayak when strong southerly winds in Puget Sound preclude other locations. It's also a good place to view winter waterfowl. Enjoy side trips into scenic Paradise Cove and The Lagoon.
notes
- Great paddling location when strong southerly winds in Puget Sound preclude other locations.
- Good location for winter waterfowl viewing.
- Side trips into scenic Paradise Cove and The Lagoon, atnortheast edge of main bay, moderate to high tide needed for entry, are worthwhile.
- During large tide variations, the shoal just South of Sequim Bay's mouth and extending to John Wayne Marina can have two-three knots current on the flood.
