Loup Loup South Summit Nordic Trails
Enjoy multiple loops of varying difficulty from the Loup Loup South Summit Sno-Park. This area favorite with many locals is groomed occasionally and provides miles of skiing fun.
getting there
Drive SR-20 to Loup Loup Pass, 12.5 miles east of Twisp. Turn right onto Forest Road 41 and continue 0.5 miles to the South Summit Sno-Park (3,950 ft).
ski trails
From the SnoPark, head to the sign board and determine the length and difficulty of trails for your day's adventure. Beginners might enjoy a mix of Trails 1, 5, 6, and 7. More adventurous skiers may head for Trails 2 and 4, and perhaps the Trail F. Regardless of where you ski, enjoy the nice mix of ponderosa pines and western larch trees, check out animal tracks—occasionally moose visit this area.
