Mount Baker Ski Area
Home to groomed resort skiing and access to some fantastic backcountry ski routes. In late winter and early spring the slopes are perfect training grounds for practicing ice axe arrest and other snow travel techniques.
Getting there
Drive SR-542 to the Mount Baker Ski Area lower park lost at (3,650 ft) or upper parking lot at the end of the plowed road in winter (4,300 ft).
