Enjoy year-round day hiking on 4 - 6.9 mile loops, for superb scenic hikes, early to late light photography, nature enjoyment, and spectacular colorful geology among the towering rock formations above the Crooked River canyon. Every season reveals the special wonders of Smith Rock.

Scheduling & Permit information
While this area does not currently have any permit requirements or restrictions, it is up to us to make sure we are being good land stewards and setting the standard for others to follow. Please keep group sizes to 15 total people and the number of Mountaineers groups to 3 per day.
