Steptoe Butte State Park
A 150-acre, 3,612-foot-tall natural monument. The park is famous for its stark, dramatic beauty and the panoramic view it provides of surrounding farmlands, the Blue Mountains, and other neighboring ranges and peaks. A paved road leads to a parking area on top.

The Mountaineers has a commercial use permit with Washington State Parks for all free and fee-based outings at state parks. Leaders should carry a print or digital copy of our commercial use permit to show rangers they may encounter.
