Strawberry Mountain Lookout Site
A trail that traverses the ridge which is the boundary between Gifford Pinchot National Forest and Mount St. Helens National Monument. This is a great trail from which to observe the blast zone and some equipment that was destroyed in the blast. At the top of the lookout site you will be rewarded with a 360 degree view of the surrounding area.
notes
- As with many trails in the Mount St. Helens, there is a lot of exposure. Be sure to bring plenty of water.
