Swauk Forest Discovery Trail
A 2.5-mile loop hike near Blewett Pass. The trail winds through forest and meadow with 25 interpretive stops along the route. Enjoy wildflowers and views, as well as an area recovering from a burn.
getting there
Drive US-97 north, turn south onto Forest Road 9716. In winter park in the Blewett Pass SnoPark. In summer drive ~0.4 mile to the parking area and trailhead (4,100 ft).

snowshoe route
In winter, this area is popular with snowmobilers, but the motorized and non-motorized areas split at the turnoff for the trail.
