Terrace Creek Park

A long, narrow, thickly wooded suburban nature park in Mountlake Terrace. It's also know as Cany Cane Park and has 1.6 miles of trails.

Getting There

A parking lot is located at it's southern entrance, adjacent to city ball fields.

From Seattle: Take Exit 178 off of I-5, turn right onto 236th St SW. Drive 0.7 mile, turn left onto 48th Ave W, and drive 0.2 mile to the parking lot on the left.

From Everett: Take Exit 179 off of I-5 and turn left onto 220th St SW. Drive 0.3 mile, turn right onto 56th Ave W, drive 0.9 mile and turn left onto 236th St SW. Drive 0.4 mil, turn left onto 48th Ave W, and drive 0.2 mile to the parking lot on the left.

On the Trail

Hike the long and narrow park's creekside trail that runs for 1.1 miles south to north in a forested ravine. There is also a half mile connected upland loop trail on its western flank. The park is thickly vegetated with typical lowland second-growth forest. The park also features a Frisbee golf course and picnic grounds.
