Trip Report

Alpine Scramble / Exploring Nature - Snoqualmie Summit Ski Areas

This was a trip with a focus on identifying animal tracks & sign, in partnership with Conservation Northwest. We traveled across the Cascade Crest above the Snoqualmie Summit ski areas. Involved scrambling skills, but no summit. Connected between Beaver Lake, Lodge Lake, Divide Lake & Hyak Lake.

  • Road suitable for all vehicles
  • Hard melt-freeze crust in snow in old-growth forest shaded areas. Soft, fresh wet snow in open areas. Lakes just beginning to thaw.

Identified several trails & sign of wildlife.
