Alpine Scramble - Guye Peak/East Route

Allowed students to run the show, and they found a great route different than what I had planned for the day.

Gaia shows a faint climber's trail following the ESE base of Guye, then angling up to the saddle, (Caltopo currently does not show this route). There's actually two, we hit the high one on the ascent, and this greatly slows your progress with some challenging sections and talus fields. The Team located the lower of the two on the descent and this was a much better and faster selection. Great way to ascend either one as we had no concerns of snow releasing from the steep slopes above on this low snow year and July scramble. Only had occasional small patches of snow in the higher reaches of our day.
