Alpine Scramble - Little Si

The open book and the ledges to its right were still wet, so we opted for a detour.

  • We had hoped the rock would be dry, but it had rained quite a bit on the previous day. The open book and the ledges next to it (the T4 moves) were wet, so we opted to take a detour. Many thanks to Vineeth for guiding us! We still got some rock scrambling done, but were able to avoid slippery, mossy rock. 

A lovely afternoon with a great group of people. The parking lot was full mid-day on a Sunday, but were able to find room in the overflow lot. Lots of people out today! It's always fun to pop up on the summit rocks from this scramble and see the surprised looks from the people who had hiked up. 

2.5 hours car-to-car. Graduation scramble for two students!
