Alpine Scramble - Mount Rose (winter)

The most snow I've seen on Rose in years!  It was patchy at the trailhead and quickly became consistent.  We all donned micro-spikes about half-way to Horse Camp, then wore snowshoes all the way to the top with a mostly decent track through very deep snow.  Gorgeous snow formations along the way.  No wind, perfect temperature.  Great leader and companions, a very enjoyable trip!
