Wonderful snow, perfect conditions for snowshoeing, skiing, and snowboarding. Lot's of folks doing lots of it all, and it never felt crowded.
Started from Paradise a little after 10:00 in a light, frozen mist. It soon gave way to peeks at Rainier, and finally blue sky! Except for an occasional gust, wind was negligible. However, we could see snow blowing off the mountain at higher elevations.
Conditions could not have been better. Plenty of deep, soft, untracked snow, chilly but comfortable temps, and a great group of Mountaineers all doing what we love!
