Cross-country Ski - White Pass Nordic Center
White Pass Nordic did a courtesy grooming of their trails on April 15. We skied most of the trails and loops, found them all groomed and with good depth and coverage. This will probably be good skiing for at least another few days. Thank you, White Pass!

Lake Loop, Corral Loop, NW quadrant of Dog Lake Loop, Heatherstone, south half of Zig Zag, SE quadrant of Dark Meadows Loop, Dark Meadows Addition North and South Loops all groomed and very skiable, with snow the consistency of ice cream, on afternoon of 4/15.
Some loose wet avalanches on the Talus Slope above the west end of Leech Lake, not intruding on trail.
Trip statistics, according to Caltopo: Distance run: 8.66 miles. Elevation range 4,411' to 5,140'. Elevation gain and loss: 1,196'. Skiing time 3.5 hours. Started skiing 10:30 am. Back at trailhead at 2:25 pm.
