Trail is in mostly good shape. There was one very large pile of blow down. Small parking lot right now, but the county is planning to build a bigger one.
This was the steepest of our after-hour hikes so far, a good conditioner. We hiked up from the Big Tree trail head to Anti-aircraft Peak. We ate dinner in a picnic shelter, tagged the peak and enjoyed the million dollar view before heading down. The early forest flowers are blooming - Trillium, Red flowering currant and Indian plum.
