Trail is in good shape. Some mud as it had been raining.
We picked out a loop on Cougar Mountain to give us the elevation gain and mileage we wanted to get and still be back to the cars before dusk. We met at Sky Country trailhead as it is large and we were all coming from work in separate cars. We found a spot in the woods for dinner. Plants now flowering: Indian plum, trillium, flowering red currant and wood violets.
