Day Hike - Crystal Lakes and Sourdough Gap
Beautiful basin with wildflower slopes leading up to the PCT intersection where there are fantastic views both East and West including Mount Rainier, Upper Crystal Lake and Sheep Lake

Trail is in great shape and bugs were very minimal. Nice variety of terrain and fauna including wildflower meadows.
Small group of hikers today including two first time Mountaineers made for a fun and beautiful hike. The early start avoided the later day crowds and made for easy close to trailhead parking.
