Day Hike - Echo Mountain

There is not a lot of parking at any of the trailheads here.  But it isn't usually crowded. Spring Lake / Lake Desire / McGarvey Park are primarily used by locals for hiking, biking, jogging, and dog walking. There is  a nice view of Mt. Rainier from The Knoll. We were lucky and the evening was clear. We were also able to see the Seattle skyline and some Cascade peaks from the trail.  You had to stoop to see them through the trees.  It is a pretty forest. Indian plum is beginning to bloom.
