It was very windy with temps in the high 50s. No snow (like I read on a WTA report a week ago), so that was good. The trails was clearly visibly and easy to follow. Closer to the end of the trail and heading towards the waterfall, the trail turned to loose sand, making it difficult to walk.
The parking lot is very small, so we double-parked since we were all in the group (7 of us).
Lot's of phox in bloom with yarrow and bitter bush with lots of buds and close to blooming (probably in a week).
