Day Hike - Fudge Point State Park

Was a great trip and even though the area was undeveloped it was an easy hike. There was mud on the trail and puddles here and there. Probably waterproof boots a must. The kids loved the muddy puddles though. Parking was not great but we made do. When the park is more developed in the next few months should become a great hike for families.

  • Road suitable for all vehicles
  •   The beach area was beautiful.  It was clean and pristine.  The hike was easy since an old road was used.  Parking was on the side of the road but adequate for our group.  Kids had a ball especially jumping in muddy puddles on the trail including my adult daughter who is an overgrown kid.  We ate lunch and fudge brownies on the beach.  No bathroom facilities yet except for the forest.  It worked out great and we all had a good time.  Roads leading to trail head were good for all vehicles.
