I just want to thank Bob McFarland for organizing and leading this very nice hike yesterday! I've done Granite Mountain several times, but this trip was the most fun I've experienced on it! The group camaraderie was wonderful and the views outstanding. Bob's timing was perfect with about 6.5 hours rt, including breaks and a leisurely lunch. We left the lookout in time to avoid approaching t-storm clouds and thunder. Thank you also to Paul Thomsen for assisting and helping to make it memorable day!
