Trip Report
Day Hike - Green Lake (Mount Rainier
First 3 miles relatively flat, 1 mile uphill to Ranger falls trail is fine, minor wet/ muddy spots, last .8 miles to Green lake good. Forest ranger warned us that the trail to Chenoweth falls across the river the second bridge washed out, he discouraged anyone from crossing the knee deep fast running cold water. Forest service is focusing on repairing the up- river bridge for Carbon river crossing for the Wonderland trail. He hoped the next 2 weeks that bridge would be repaired.

Parking is limited, try and carpool if possible. Road is fine, a couple of deep pot holes. Pit toilets were well stocked.
Parking lot was very full by 9am. I recommend starting early especially in warm weather. Trail is off and on shady . Our Gaia app reported 10 miles round trip.
Lots of bikers on the road portion. No cell service at trail head, you loose it in the town before.
