Day Hike - Hugo Peak
Better than forecasted weather. Lower trail some mud puddles, no trees over trail. With Rainer closed the parking lot filled up later in the day but most people on our way out.

Trail was good, muddy in spots. Be prepared for rain and layers for warmth. No bathrooms at trail head. No special parking permit needed. Maps supplied on porch near parking lot
Started near highway at lower Hugo trail head. Well marked, crosses a lot of unused roads. Trail in good condition, muddy in spots. Last bit up is on a road. I highly recommend getting one of the free maps on the porch of the building near the main parking lot. We were stopped by a lot of day visitors who asked about distance, etc. Trails and roads can be confusing. There is some unexpected cell service in spots!
