WTA has been working on this trail. It is much improved. There are still going to be rocks on a trail through a talus slope and lots of roots near Hemlock Pass. Water flow is low this time of year, so all water crossings were easy. There are good bridges where needed.
No problems with parking. There were a few other people, but they must have been doing the loop to the Pratt Lake trail. We had the lakes to ourselves. It was a beautiful sunny day. Fall color is off to a good start. There will be more to come. We heard several Pikas and saw one up close.
