Day Hike - Mount Rose

Great day to hike in November, started chilly but warmed up some. Trail in good condition, saw few people and completed hike before rain began. Left no trace for the pesky jays at the top.

  • Road suitable for all vehicles

  • Trail only had one small tree, easy to cross. Few places where it is skinny to walk. Take plenty of water and adjust clothes as necessary, a bit windy/chilly at the top. But it is late November. 

Trailhead port a potty still open, has toilet paper. No permits needed. Few people on the trail. Good time to hike it without crowds and heat. We tried the Pizza place by the forest service, reasonable good food.
