Day Hike - Mount Si Old Trail

The old trail was muddy with a couple of standing water stretches and stream-like trail. We used microspikes on most of the final thousand feet, but they were mostly needed on the scrambly rocky portion to the base of Haystack Rock. Beautiful snow covered forest on the upper stretches. Sunshine at the top was most welcome! We did a nice loop down via part of the old trail, then connecting to the main trail, then the Boulder Garden trail back to the Little Si trail. Overall a very enjoyable day with a fun group of Mountaineers!
