We met at 7 AM on 12/28/2024 at the signage by the pit toilets (which were open). Hiked to the base of the haystack, then caught the connector over to the Teneriffe trail. Only a few trees across the main trail. From the rocks at the false summit, to the haystack, there was snow. The connector had between 0" and 4" of snow. Once we caught the connector, we made for the Teneriffe summit, however the snow on the trail was getting steadily deeper. I believe we made it up the trail about 3/4 of a mile, before the snow depth turned the trail from hiking conditions into snowshoeing conditions, so we had to turn around. We descended via the Teneriffe trail down to the Talus loop connector, which we caught back to the main Mt. Si trail. Overall, the trail is in good condition, only a few downed trees. The canopy is super saturated so even when the rain stopped, we were still "rained on", so be sure to bring your rain gear. It's also very windy near/at the summit, so ensure you have your layering system dialed in better than this Hike Leader.
