A winter weather advisory for Snoqualmie Pass caused a last-minute re-direct to this easy hike near DuPont. The weather cooperated, and we spent a pleasant few hours admiring the scenery and mossses in this prime example of the creek valleys leading down to Puget Sound. Highlights were the blooming fawn lilies, the elusive magnificent moss and the chain fern.
