Day Hike - Summit Lake

Route conditions were dry and clear (a couple of mud pits though), trail was in great shape. When we arrived at the rim surrounding Summit Lake, walked on consolidated snow pretty much through out. However, it is melting out and swatches of ground are breaking out. Lake was essentially snow free but some lingered still at various locations around the lake. Hiked up to the summit, trail fairly easy to follow, but had to use 'dirty bootprints' to go over consolidated snow patches between bare trail.Summit block clear of any snow.
