The trail was very well maintained and well marked.
The parking lot had plenty of spaces available. It was a hot day and it got a bit humid in the forest. The hike was around 4 miles round trip and 650 ft of elevation gain. Most of the elevation gain was on the last 1/2 mile approach to Wilderness Peak. At the peak is a very nice bench as well as a log book.
