With the tail end of the king tide the water was higher than usual which made for a fun standing wave for the entire time we were there. There was little beach area at the break spot but we managed with no issue.
Logs/debris was not a real issue but we had to move a deer carcass in the back eddy with some boats.
Despite the easterly 8 -10 knot wind the crew had a great time fine tuning our rough water skills in the pass. The biggest successes of the trip were the awarding of 5 roll badges and Intermediate badge sign offs for 2 of the team.
