Good snow coverage and great grooming and track. Only slightly icy conditions on shady trails in the morning
This was my first official lead for a XC ski trip and I had an awesome time with a great group of 8. Dominique assisted me expertedly.
We met at the snopark at 10:30 and after the trail head talk we skied all the loops at Erking Stordal and included the Challenge loop by choice. All chose to do the first Challenge trail and three did the Ultimate Challenge trail. We regrouped on the Rollercoaster trail where we had lunch in the sunshine.
The group was up for more skiiing when we completed the loops so we also skied the P2C to the Keechelum dam. Looked at the views and the lake, snapped some pictures and returned to the snopark by 2:30 PM. Great group of intermediate skiers with good base fitness. Fun day!
