Road rough but passable. Would recommend high clearance car. We got up in a Toyota Highlander. It is a little narrow brushy at times as well so also for folks that do not mind their car maybe getting scratches.
Beautiful fall day scrambling up hidden lake lookout and peak. Trail in good shape. There was a kind of a boot path up to the lookout and the top part is a short rock scramble. Amazing views from the lookout. This trail is 75% exposed so bring your sunscreen! The first mile is in the forest, then you follow the trial in the meadows up to the ridge line. This is one of my favorite scrambles because it has amazing views, a hidden lake, and a lookout!
