Mount Pugh
Beautiful day to climb Pugh on July 4. There are still 2 very small sections of snow that are easily avoided.

The trail is clear and deadfall has been moved and sections of the trail have been repaired. Overall the trail is in great condition. There is water low but none after about 10% of the way up the trail. The blasted area at the end of the ridge and before the scramble has some loose rocks and gravel so be mindful. The scramble is very easy but has sand/gravel and a loose hold here and there. Exposure is really the largest hurdle with high consequence fall potential in a few locations.
The views are amazing since the summit is far from the mountain groups so clear views of Sloan and Glacier make them seem very close.
There were 5 cars at the trailhead when I finished and there was still space available for a few more.
