Park Butte

Our group did this hike 26 August, 2014. It was a perfect day for the area as the bugs were nowhere in sight, the temperature was in the mid sixties and the sky was clear for great views of Mount Baker. Also the seasonal aluminum footbridge is in place over Rocky Creek making the crossing safe and dry.

Along the way in and out to the lookout we took in the lupine, monkey flower and heather and munched on huckleberries along the trail.
