Park Butte

We had a great group of 10 hikers visit the Park Butte Lookout on June 12, 2015. The Forest Roads accessing the trailhead were in good condition with some potholes that were managed by going slow. The trail is in good condition and is snow free - very early this year due to low snowfall this winter. The seasonal aluminum bridge over Rocky Creek is in place. When we started from the trailhead, the temperature was 45 degrees. At the lookout it was very windy and cold so everyone put on a second layer.
