Trip Report
Sea Kayak - Foss Waterway Park to Dickman Mill Park
This trip was attended by all registered participants. No incidents were reported. The weather was hot, but participants drank plenty of water to stay hydrated. We practiced plenty of rescue techniques which helped to stay cool. Many of the participants gathered at Johnny's Dock Restaurant for social hour and debrief at the completion of the trip.

Thea Foss Waterway is a busy place on a hot Saturday afternoon. Power boats in all sizes, paddle boarders in groups of up to 15 persons, other kayakers, jet skis, and vendors doing their best to maintain a safe environment.
We parked in the lot directly below Thea Foss Bridge (WA509) and used the public access kayak floating dock. The staff at Foss Marina accommodated our request to enter their bathroom, and were very supportive.
