It took us 15 minutes to drive the ~3.5 miles on the dirt road.  Parking lot was nearly full at 10:30 AM arrival.
On the trail, very few muddy areas.  No snow.  All but one water crossing were on log bridges.  No crowds, but quite a few people- both day hikers and campers.
We did not go into any of the lakes, but were able to glimpse them from the trail.

We walked from trailhead to trail junction of Island Lake, approximately 11.5 miles round trip and about 2000 feet of gain.

Flowers seen: Lupine,Beargrass, Queen’s Cup lilies,Trillium,Bunchberry dogwood,Spirea, Phlox, Scarlet Paintbrush.   Probably more.  All trailside.
