Winter Scramble - Austin Pass (winter)
Great trip with the sun making an appearance but avy conditions thwarting our Table Mt scramble.

Some avy conditions but minimized risks via route. 25 feet of snow so far this year but fairly compact snow via trails.
Left the trailhead at 1030 am and made camp at Austin Pass. Avy conditions were too high to scramble Table Mt so went up to Artist Point and Huntoon Point and were treated to amazing views in rare lighting. Calm night around 10 degrees with the full moon out. Sunday the avy conditions continued to be high (you can get reception on top the hill) so decided to go back up to Artist Point for a view of Baker. Packed up camp at Noon and headed for lunch in Glacier then home. Lots of parties enjoying the snow.
