10 Essentials: Questions
How did you get involved with The Mountaineers?
I had just moved back home after finishing school and needed to make some local friends so I gave scrambling a try.
What motivates you to get outside with us?
I like to challenge myself and have found a great group of other climbers to push harder with. I also enjoy helping students learn.
What's your favorite Mountaineers memory?
Probably standing on top of Mount Olympus with a great group and seeing all the ice that looked like frozen waves.
Who/What inspires you?
Mostly the people around me that are just great people and climbers.
What does adventure mean to you?
A little bit of unknown and something that will be challenging but fun. I haven't had an adventure yet that wasn't fun.
Lightning Round
What's your 11th Essential? My fanny pack that holds all my food so I remember to eat during the day. Looks nerdy but very practical!
If you could be a rock star at any outdoor activity overnight, what would it be? Ice climbing for sure.
