How did you get involved with The Mountaineers?
A very good friend of mine took me to a rock climbing demo The Mountaineers did out on Icicle Road in Leavenworth. I am embarrassed to admit it but I had not spent much time outside at all. It was one of those perfect summer Eastern Washington days that sold me....
What motivates you to get outside with us?
I enjoy learning and that is what The Mountaineers is all about. I always take something away from the classes and trips. It is great being outside with like minded people. I am very proud to be a part of the Mountaineers!!!
What's your favorite Mountaineers memory?
Snowboarding Plumbers Peak with the Ski and Snowboarding Mountaineers Class. It was a bluebird weekend and the group was fantastic! We had a LOT of fun that weekend.
Who/What inspires you?
Being outside and challenging myself. It is always humbling to me to look at a mountain and then after a few hours or days, standing on top of it.
What does adventure mean to you?
Doing things that most people don't or won't do.
