10 Essential Questions
How did you get involved with The Mountaineers?
I was thrilled to join the Mountaineers team professionally in 2013. I write grants and coordinate special events and campaigns that help make inspiring book projects happen.
What motivates you to get outside with us?
I love introducing people to the many benefits of living an active life that is rich in outdoor experiences. I am also firm believer that when people have fun outside, they are going to be much more likely to step up to protect and steward wild places, so I see introducing more people to outdoor recreation as a great way to help protect the wild places that we love and those that we, quite literally, need to survive.
What's your favorite Mountaineers memory?
Well, there are a lot, but getting 800 people together to see Reinhold Messner speak was pretty amazing.
Who/What inspires you?
Little kids with big smiles.
What does adventure mean to you?
Lightning Round
