A fellow member and I left the trailhead at 2:30am to meet up with group on a student climb of Mt Stone. The party was camped at Lake of the Angels. There had been heavy rain & snow over night but we felt obligated to still go. It was pouring rain, and my climbing partner turns to me and says, "I have golf umbrellas!" The rest of the party had a chuckle when we showed up carrying them!
