How did you get involved with The Mountaineers?
My son, who lives in Albuquerque, told me I was a fool not to be involved with people I share common interests. I found The Mountaineers and loved it right away.
What motivates you to get outside with us?
I'm motivated to learn new skills and share meaningful, quality time with people who enjoy the outdoors.
What's your favorite Mountaineers memory?
The care, quality, and professionalism of the instruction I have received in my beginning kayak class really stands out. The helpfulness of all the staff I have interacted with has been great too.
Who/What inspires you?
I'm inspired by so much: beauty, adventure, nature, laughter, expanse, life.
What does adventure mean to you?
Adventure means pushing my beliefs, limits, expectations, and comfort zone. It means taking a risk, and saying yes to life.
