After three years, The Mountaineers annual Volunteer Appreciation Night is back in-person. Last year, we pivoted to a virtual event and had a wonderful time recognizing our 2021 Volunteer Award Recipients.
This year, we are excited to gather in-person once again to acknowledge the immense service to our organization. We are hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Night on Saturday, January 28, from 5:00-7:00pm PST at the Seattle Program Center. With a screening of the film, And We Rise: Climbers of Color, from 7:00-7:30pm. The screening is optional for Volunteer Appreciation Night attendees.
Join us to connect with friends from across the organization, learn more about our volunteers' collective accomplishments, and celebrate our deep culture of volunteerism. In lieu of a formal dinner, we will serve a variety of hearty appetizers, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks. Catered appetizers will be provided by Old Ballard Catering Co.
Registration is open to volunteers from all branches. Friends and family are welcome to attend as guests, please just make sure they’re included in the RSVP. The event is free, and there is no cost to attend.
The evening program will include the presentation of the Branch Service Awards and Organization-wide Mountaineers Awards.

5-6pm: Social Hour. A full dinner will not be provided, but we’ll have appetizers as well as beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
6-7pm: Org-wide and Branch Award Presentations
7-7:30pm: Screening of And We Rise: Climbers of Color [optional]
