For over 100 years, The Mountaineers have kept up the centuries-old tradition of entertaining each other around the campfire. Today, we're proud to put on two productions each summer at our magical Kitsap Forest Theatre. This summer we're showing two greats: Mary Poppins and Shrek. Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a TONY Award-winning fairy tale adventure featuring all-new songs, a sidesplitting story and great dancing. Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage, including a large ensemble of fairy tale characters. Strong male and female lead roles. We are looking for a Camp Coordinator and staff (paid and teen volunteers) to work at camp. This will be our 4th year, and campers delight in this unique outdoor summer program featuring art, music, drama, play, hiking and exploring the forest, wildlife and creeks at the Kitsap Forest Theater. Seattle campers ride the ferry each day.
Stage Manager and Work Parties
Kitsap Forest Theater is looking for a stage manager for our spring show, Mary Poppins. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about this position. If you are organized and can handle multiple tasks at once, we are willing to help train. Join a stellar production team and enjoy helping to birth a show from start to finish.
We are looking for volunteers to help with our Mound Re-do Project on the Kitsap Forest Theater stage this weekend and upcoming weekends. This is a great way to meet some behind-the-scenes Players and to help create a "magic room" on the stage. Come help our Set Builder, Chris Stanley, and other volunteers. contact us for more information. Dates are this Saturday and Sunday, January 17 & 18 and Sunday, January 25 and February 1. All times from 10 am to 4 pm. Ferry pickup in Bainbridge can be arranged.
