Join The Mountaineers as we host author and climber Jeff Smoot at The Seattle Program Center on September 13 for a presentation on his new book All and Nothing: Inside Free Soloing.
All and Nothing is a comprehensive look at the psychology of those who solo, the media that fuels its increasing popularity, and the tightrope walk between risk and reward in free soloing. During his presentation, Jeff shares original interviews with dozens of free soloists, and recounts his personal experiences climbing in the same era as talented climbers like Mark Twight and Peter Croft - and the price he’s paid for his escapades. Don't miss your chance to hear this unique presentation on the development of climbing's riskiest subculture.
